Appointments

The clinic runs an appointment system. Please ring 9738 0009 for an appointment.  Every effort is made to accommodate your preferred time and GP. However, if you need an appointment when your preferred GP is unavailable; we strongly recommend doctors that you consult other within the practice to maintain continuity of your care, as all doctors share access of your confidential history. Emergencies will always be given priority, which may result in a delay of your scheduled appointment time.

Longer consultation times are available; please ask our receptionists if you require extra time.

If you or a family member requires an interpreter service, we can organize this for you. Please let us know when you make the appointment.

Care outside normal opening hours

The clinic provides a Locum Service (home visit) for after hours care. Ph: 132 660
For emergencies patients are advised to attend their nearest hospital or to call an ambulance.

Home and other visits

Home visits are available for regular patients of this practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery.

Telephone access

Doctors in the practice may be contacted during normal opening hours. If the doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and the call will be returned. In an emergency your call will be put through.

Receiving results of any test or procedure

Your doctor will advise when they expect results to arrive at the practice. You will then be required to make an appointment to find out your results and ask what they mean for your care. In the case of an abnormal result, surgery staff will contact you to make an appointment to return and see a doctor.

Management of your personal health information

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of the practice to maintain the security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff.

If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to see your doctor, nurse or the receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or use our suggestion box. We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously.
